SDOP Sunday Resource and Yearbook

The SDOP Sunday Resource and Yearbook, download HERE, features stories of our community partners, a sermon by Mid KY Presbytery SDOP Committee Chair, Rev. Faye Fedlam, a reflection by Rev. Francis Miller, Presbytery of Western Reserve SDOP Committee Chair, and more!  Learn about Sacramento Homeless Organizing Committee’s efforts in seeking solutions around issues of homelessness and lack of affordable housing and Sisters with a Goal, returning citizens advocating for needs of the formerly incarcerated. This resource may be used in promoting and interpreting the work of SDOP.

In 2022 SDOP awarded grants to community groups at the national and mid-council levels in 18 states (CA; FL; IL; KY; MD; MI; MN; MO; NC; NE; NJ; NY; OH; OK; PA; TX; VA; WI) and 5 countries (Belize; Guatemala; Panama; Nicaragua; Nigeria). We hope this resource demonstrates the breadth and depth of the church’s work in poverty eradication and the difference the One Great Hour of Sharing is making in under-resourced communities in and outside the US.
