The Mission of the National Black Presbyterian Caucus is to serve Jesus Christ, and enrich the black Presbyterian congregations and their communities, through our commitment to congregational enhancement, advocacy, social and racial justice; and challenging the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) when it fails to take seriously the needs of the poor, oppressed, and disenfranchised.

One of the opportunities we have to accomplish our mission is to participate with voice and vote on the General Assembly’s Racial Equity Advocacy Committee (REAC). Our position on REAC will soon be open. I encourage our members who feel called to be a strong prophetic voice for justice engaging those issues that adversely affect the quality of life of people of color.

If you are interested in serving as the NBPC representative on REAC please e-mail Rev. Dr. Thomas H. Priest, Jr. (thomaspjr@earthlink.net), NBPC President. The term is four years (2020 – 2024) with eligibility for a second term.  Use the button below to DOWNLOAD the full description.
